A master of the art of persuasion and a leader in the consulting profession, Dan has built a prominent career as an arbiter of business conflicts. He thrives on creating harmony out of chaos.
As a CEO/managing director, he is considered to be at his best when working with the business-task owner, the engagement team and a business owner to define the task and its underlying procedures. At the same time, he aligns the correct resources and tool sets to define, position, propose and execute a project.
The idea of contributing his expertise to fill a void among small-to-medium-sized businesses lies at the core of Legacy Analytics. Wishing to provide clients with needed services by honest, clean-living business experts, he and co-founder Donald J. Fletcher collected the most capable, educated and dedicated group of “white hats” ever assembled in one consulting firm.
Those who know Dan know that he and his business mission are the “real deal.”
EXPERIENCE & ACHIEVEMENTS
Before joining Legacy, Dan was the co-founder and chief quality officer of Strategic Business Partners, an award-winning national consulting firm that achieved the Better Business Bureau’s highest possible rating. He led the company from start-up to national prominence by winning both Consulting Magazine’s Small Jewel Award and many local awards during its years of prosperity.
He was also the managing director with profit and loss responsibility for 300+ direct employees and 100+ contract employees for a prominent international consulting firm's $35 million division in Milan, Italy.
He arrived at that position in 1994 with no Italian language skills and five unions with swollen ranks plaguing the division’s productivity. By the time Dan returned stateside in 2003, he was fluent in Italian, and the unions had been decimated due to his ability to persuade them to jettison controversy and “join the team.”
EDUCATION
Dan has a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric and communications from Columbia State University with contributing credits from the State University of New York at Albany and Bowling Green State University (Ohio).
He has received a second bachelor’s degree, graduating Kumma Sum Laude, in business divinity from Ohio Christian University (Circleville). He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in ministry from the same fully accredited, historical university.
TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
After lengthy scrutiny, the Federal Department of State gave Dan Top Secret Clearance on June 7, 2010. This prestigious clearance has not yet been activated because he was not hired for the foreign service officer position for which he’d applied, but the Feds’ decision spoke volumes about the integrity and transparency of Dan’s past and present conduct.
